Purpose HOPE Bible College and Seminary came into existence specifically for the student whose primary heartbeat is to receive a concise and complete overview of the English Bible. So, it can be said that the curriculum and course studies offered at HOPE Seminary and HOPE Bible College are not merely based on the Bible - but rather they are the Bible. |
Our graduates are men and women who are trained for roles in church leadership. They are well equipped learners and leaders who become role models in the local church and the community. Our program develops competencies for effectively communicating and teaching God's Word to others and firm ground for personal spiritual growth. |
Once any Student has completed the first phase of their studies with HOPE, they earn the Graduate of Theology Diploma (Th.G.), and if they desire to continue their studies at HOPE, they may continue in additional courses and earn an Associate, Bachelor, Masters, and PhD in Ministry or Biblical Studies. |
Supreme Goal To adequately prepare men and women of God to Minister The Word of God in The Power of The Holy Spirit to others: |
- Not Merely Information: What does The Word of God say? In the absence of The Ministry of The Holy Spirit, even God’s Own Word is merely information.
- Correct Interpretation: What does The Scripture mean? We are not to merely read God’s Word, we are meant to actually consume it. This is accomplished on our part with deliberate study and meditating on His Word.
Do your best to present yourself to God as a tried-and-true worker who isn't ashamed to teach the word of truth correctly. (II Timothy 2:15)
- Proper Illustration: How can The Scripture be best explained? For every genuine article of great value and worth, there is a counterfeit version.
Again Jesus used stories as illustrations when he spoke to them. He said, “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who planned a wedding for his son. (Matthew 22:1-2)
- Life Application: How can God’s Word be personally applied to my own life?
I have treasured your promise in my heart so that I may not sin against you... I want to reflect on your guiding principles and study your ways... Help me understand your guiding principles so that I may reflect on your miracles. (Psalms 119:11, 15, 27)
- Propagation of The Gospel: How can I effectively communicate God’s Word to others that they in turn may also teach it to others? Every Believer a witness, and every local church a church planter of additional churches. That is how The Great Commission is best accomplished.
Let Christ's word with all its wisdom and richness live in you. Use psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to teach and instruct yourselves about [God's] kindness. Sing to God in your hearts. Everything you say or do should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:16-17)
